About this place
Just outside the exit of Kanamecho Station, Aoyama Ippin offers an easygoing stop for everything from hearty solo set meals to evening gatherings. The storefront looks compact from the street, but seating is laid out mainly on the 2nd floor, where tables beside the windows look out over the neighborhood.
Portions are generous day and night. Midday selections feature mixed starchy yakisoba noodles coated in piping-hot gravy, fried rice with cubed braised pork and greens, and combination sets pairing substantial mains with noodles; set meals include small side dishes and pickles. Classic staples like stir-fried liver and garlic chives or pan-fried gyoza sets provide savory, aromatic accompaniments for plenty of white rice.
In the evening, tables fill with shared dishes like soup dumplings and salt-and-pepper fried kuruma prawns, paired with Shaoxing highballs or draft beer. Banquet courses with all-you-can-drink options and all-you-can-eat-and-drink plans accommodate lively group gatherings.
At the entrance, Chinese bento boxes and ready-made side dishes are available for takeout, making it simple to pick up mapo tofu or fried rice on the way home. The shop accepts cashless payment methods such as PayPay and Rakuten Pay, keeping visits straightforward.
